I am honoured to be patron of the following organisations.

The Vegetarian Society
The Vegetarian Society of the United Kingdom is the oldest vegetarian organisation in the world. It is an educational charity promoting understanding and respect for vegetarian lifestyles.
Viva! – Vegetarians International Voice for Animals – believes that the best way to improve our health, stop environmental damage, global hunger and animal cruelty is to stop eating animals now: go vegetarian or, better still, vegan. Viva! has shocked and enlightened many with its very effective campaigns.
The Vegetarian and Vegan Foundation (VVF)
The Vegetarian and Vegan Foundation – or VVF – is a registered charity that was set up to monitor and explain the increasing amount of scientific research linking vegetarian and vegan diets to health, and to provide accurate information with which to make informed choices.

The centre is staffed by therapists and receptionists who give freely of their time.

Compassion in World Farming

Compassion in World Farming was founded 50 years ago in 1967 by a British farmer who became horrified by the development of modern, intensive factory farming.  Today they campaign peacefully to end all factory farming practices.
